Dutch's Story...
DUTCH (named after the great Darren Daulton) is one of the sweetest boys you’ll ever meet!

Dutch appears to be part Jack Russell Terrier and part Cardigan Corgi, but no one knows for sure…all we know is that he is adorable!

He is estimated to be about a year and a half old but still acts very much like a puppy, with the acceptation of being completely housetrained! He is great with other dogs, cats, and LOVES children! He is also crate trained, but doesn’t seem to get into puppy mischief and shouldn’t require one. Dutch is 23 pounds of pure love, and isn't expected to continue to grow.

Dutch was found roaming the streets of South Carolina, pick up as stray, and landed in a High-Kill shelter before The Rescue Express swooped in to save him! He arrived in Philadelphia on Friday 7/10/13 and went directly to a foster home…what a lucky guy! He is up-to date on all vaccines as well as microchipped and is now ready to find a forever home.

Please consider adding this boy to your family!

Contact Christine at christine@totalpressservices.com or his foster mom Jessica at jessica.niser@comcast.net for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutch, a Media Jack Russell Terrier/Cardigan Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Cardigan Welsh Corgi for sale in Media, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Cardigan Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Media.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Media already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Media breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Cardigan Welsh Corgi breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Cardigan Welsh Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Media paves the way for another one to be saved.
