My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arty is a 9 month old male red merle pendingadoption in Dallas, Georgia. He's athletic, driven, eager to please, and in search of a performance home to call his own! Arty is a star.

Although irresistibly cute, he's not the right kind of Aussie for everyone. Arty will require vigorous daily exercise and an experienced handler to be truly happy. This boy is ready to show the world what he's made of, and he desperately needs a full time job. We believe in Arty's potential, and have been impressed with him from day one. We're also working on some areas that need improvement, such as impulse control, distractions, and being an absolute ball hog. Although he's sweet as can be, Arty's prey drive is through the roof. He does well with assertive Aussie siblings, but would probably be a poor choice for families with young children, small dogs or cats. Arty is housebroken, crate trained, and non-destructive. He is not an excessive barker, and does not suffer from any form of anxiety (non-reactive when startled, happy during thunderstorms, and greets strangers with a wiggle).
