My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful little boy was dumped in a ditch with his littermates. Fortunately, a good Samaritan saw these precious little pups and stopped to pick them up. They were taken to a local vet and then went into a FOR foster home. He is a Lab mix, and his foster family thinks that he is also mixed with Basenji. He is thriving in his foster home with his siblings and is learning all about soft beds, toys, and having plenty of food. Tucker may be smaller, but he’s definitely the bravest of the bunch! He’s spunky and very smart too! He will sit back and watch the other puppies to see if what they’re doing is going to work, but after that he has no problem jumping right in or even doing it better! And when they’re given treats, little Tucker cleverly finds somewhere his siblings can’t fit to eat his, like under the couch or behind the kennel. He also sometimes teases the others with his! He has no problem keeping up with his bigger siblings, but he also loves his individual time. He will always come and sit right next to you if he has the chance. Small enough to be carried everywhere, he will lie quietly in your arms until he sees something that catches his attention, and then off he goes again! He loves romping around in the backyard with his four siblings and the other three big dogs in his foster home. He’s a little escape artist, but he does it to get closer to you or the other dogs. He always seems to be happy and curious and very eager to please. He is doing very well with potty training and is learning to love car rides and walking on a leash. This sweet little baby is looking for someone to call his own that will give him all the love and attention he deserves. To learn more, please email info@FORrescue.net. Tucker is fostered in Huntsville, AL.
