Bella's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bella's Story...

Bella is a spayed female Chihuahua, DOB January, 2012.

Bella came into the rescue because her family realized that they were too busy to give Bella the attention she deserves. As a result Bella is somewhat shy at first but warms up quickly.

Bella is good with other dogs, cats and kids, loves to go for long walks and rides very well in the car. Like many small dogs Bella likes the sound of her own bark and will alert bark when people or pets walk by the house. Bella is used to being crated and can be a bit mischievous when left home alone so she should be kept confined when left by herself. Bella is a high energy fun little dog that loves her toys and playing with the other dogs in her foster house. Bella also likes to cuddle and will settle down and watch TV with her family and would make a great addition to almost any home.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date with age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped and come with a 30 day free health insurance. Please email us for an adoption application. Thank You!

Pixie Animal Rescue is run by volunteers. We do not have a facility, so all of our animals are in foster homes. Please give us time to respond to your email. Thank You!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Brighton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
