My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Crash
Age: 8 Months
Sex: Male
Weight: 26 pounds
Breed: Australian Cattle Dog Mix
Good with other dogs
Unsure about cats, can test
Would recommend a home with kids ages 10+
Personality:
Crash is a high-energy dog who would do best with a family looking to participate in dog sports or another activity that would work his brain as well as his body. He's an athlete and a problem solver. Crash also has great jumping skills and can practically look me in the eye on a jump. Crash is quickly learning his manners when it comes to interaction with people (no jumping, etc). Despite his zaniness, he is a sensitive boy who is a tad fearful/unsure. His fearfulness is minor and he has done well meeting new people. He seems genuinely excited to meet new friends both human and canine. He is also, true to his cattle dog nature, a bit vocal.
History: Uknown
House trained: In Progress
Crate trained: Yes
Special Needs of any kind: none
Health: In good health
Activity Level: Medium

LGR is a foster based rescue, which means that our adoptable dogs live in foster homes. Because they live with us, we know the habits, needs, temperament, and level of training of our dogs. To adopt an LGR dog, we ask that you first submit an adoption application (link below). When we receive your application, we will review and respond via email within 7 days. Our adoption process does more than screen applicants; it allows us to work with adopters to properly match our dogs with their forever homes. Each LGR dog is spayed/neutered, vaccinated (rabies, bordatella, DHLPP), heartworm tested (age appropriate), microchipped, and treated with heartworm and flea preventative. To adopt an LGR dog, please submit an adoption application here: http://bit.ly/LGRAdoptionApp

. As a foster based rescue, we rely on the generosity of people like you to open your hearts & homes to a dog in need. To become an LGR foster, please submit a foster application here: http://bit.ly/LGRFosterApp
