Browine's Story...
Brownie is a wonderful rusty color with golden tints to his full, lush coat. He is a big boy, at about 70 pounds, and just loves his human family. Brownie came from a local animal shelter, and not much is known about him, other than he was a favorite of the shelter staff. After his first day at my home, Brownie has fit into our lifestyle and routine. He loves to eat, and enjoys the freedom of running free in the backyard. Brownie does not jump on humans, nor does he get on the furniture. He doesn't counter-surf and get into the garbage. He sleeps at night in the bedroom on the floor by the bed, and waits for his humans to get up in the morning before he gets up. He loves to go for walks, and is learning how to walk properly on a leash. He is a very affectionate boy, loves his belly rubs and massages, and loves baths! Brownie is also good with other dogs; unknown with cats. Brownie will make some family very happy. Are you that family? Brownie's adoption fee is $200, and Brownie is currently fostered with Nancy in Inverness

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Browine, a Largo Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Largo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
