Mister (courtesy post)'s Story...
Mister was rescued from the local pound where he was going to be euthanized for being fearful. He is now approximately 1 year old and has been waiting for his furever home for a long time. Mister is a bit of a “teenager” right now: he likes to play, hang out with cat friends, and sleep! If he’s not doing that, he’s exploring! He has lots of toys (some he made himself) but really loves balls and wands with long feathers on the end. He’s still a “shy guy” from time-to-time, but that doesn’t last long and then he’s back to his playful self. He loves to have his cheeks and chin rubbed and a nice sunny spot to lay and/or look out a window. He’s very "talkative" at feeding times! :) (He’s a bit of a digger in the litter box so a hooded box would probably be best.) If interested in adopting, please contact Melissa at luvsgod7@hotmail.com. Mister's adoption fee includes his FeLV/FIV test, neuter, vaccinations, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mister (courtesy post), a Scottsdale Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
