My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET SNOPSIE. Wonderful dog, whose humans are now traveling which requires this fellow to be boarded for long periods. A new forever home would be a better resolution. He is a neutered male, chocolate with blond nose (coloring of a Reese peanut butter cup), 12lbs, 5-6 years old, short hair, and has no impairments. A loveable fellow for sure.

Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same sex in a home and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer no smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues. All our dogs are fully vetted, including all shots, wormer & flea protection, nails trimmed, the works. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $350, no exceptions as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training. Can you give him a happy, carefree life again?
