My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is an owner surrender due to a change in living arrangements beyond her control. She is a wonderful, gentle, 9yr old girl who would love nothing more than to be the center of attention in her new furever home. She is good with other dogs and will even “play?” a little. She was previously living with a child; however, we don’t feel she would do well with the activity level of children under age 9. She is enjoying the big fenced yard at her foster home and becoming more active as she sheds some of her 60 pounds. Daisy may be becoming stair challenged as a lot of senior bassets do, but she can still climb the 3-4 stairs into the yard, stubbornly refusing to use the ramp, at her foster home. Daisy will be a perfect companion basset for anyone willing to “dote” on her during her remaining “golden” years! Daisy is being fostered in Northern Illinois.
