My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rufus, a 7 month old terrier mix. Rufus is a very sweet boy once you gain his trust. He would flourish in a quiet home where someone could patiently teach him that humans can be gentle and loving.

We do not fully know Rufus's past; however, we do know that he came from a home with other dogs. He is very scared of leashes and is a runner when he is in a situation he is uncomfortable with. That said, a secured fence is a must.

Rufus just visited the vet's office and is now neutered and up to date on all shots. While at the vet, it was also discovered Rufus had a broken leg that was never fixed when he was younger.

This guy deserves a new start to life. It will take some time to work with Rufus to earn his love and trust, but watching this guy evolve into the happy, fun-loving dog he can be will be quite the reward. Please consider giving Rufus a second chance.
