Quirky Ronnie's Story...
"Come here and let me introduce myself and give you a big juicy kiss! I'm Ronnie and I love and adore humans. I'm a little picky about the home I want. I definitely don't want another male cat in the house as I need to be the 'top dog'. And if you must have another pet, I'd prefer a laid back female kitty. A dog might be okay also. I'm a big-boned boy, lean and solid. I'm super affectionate with humans and will wrap my arms around your neck and snuggle with you. And then there's the other side of me. I love to play rough. I'd love to have a forever home where my humans like to rough house with me. I'm definitely a mans-man!!!" Ronnie is so funny. He has a really quirky personality and can make you laugh. He's pretty crazy! You can get more information or set up a day/time to meet Ronnie by calling his foster mom at 847-487-2371.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quirky Ronnie, a Grayslake Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Grayslake, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Grayslake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grayslake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grayslake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grayslake paves the way for another one to be saved.
