Johnny's Story...
Johnny's mom is a feral (wild) kitty. The mom has been fed by a family but they weren't able to trap and vet her until after her babies (including Johnny) were born. There were also 2 other moms and babies so the family worked with all the kittens (about a dozen) to socialize them so they would not have to be put back outside. Two non-profits took the babies including Johnny. When given a choice on which kittens to take, Fat Cat picked Johnny because of his unusual coloring. Johnny "turned" very quickly, i.e. he became sweet and loving with humans. He's been fully vetted and is ready for his forever home. If you want more information call his foster mom at 847-487-2371.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Johnny, a Grayslake Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Grayslake, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Grayslake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grayslake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grayslake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grayslake paves the way for another one to be saved.
