Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Hey! I'm Cassidy and I think I figured out how to increase my chances of getting adopted. Black cats, black dogs, and pit bulls are always the last to get adopted. We get a bad rap and I don't know why. Anyway, my strategy to increase my chances is to always purr. When you look at me I purr. When you pet me I purr. When you hold me I purr some more. It seems to be working with my foster mom. She gives me lots of love cause my purring shows her how much I love her. So be warned. I will try to steal your heart with my motor going non-stop. Come see me and we'll see if it works on you!"
Cassidy is so affectionate that when his foster mom bends over to clean the litter boxes, Cassidy quickly jumps onto her back to get her attention. He's a super snuggler!
If you're interested in meeting Cassidy, please fill out our on-line application on our web site (www.FatCatRescueInc.org) and we will arrange a day/time that's convenient for you. Or if you have questions please call 847-306-3688, x-101 and one of our volunteers will return your call.
Fat Cat's adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies, distemper, medications for fleas, ear mites, and worms, testing for feline leukemia and FIV, and microchip. Cassidy is a man's-man, i.e. he likes to rough-house so he would do best in a home without young children.
