I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Denver's Story...
This handsome young man is Denver. Someone dumped him near the house of a kind person, who contacted rescues that could help Denver. Denver is a young guy, probably around 18 months old and is still very much a (big) puppy. He is a big boy and weighs over 80lbs already, he is in an excellent shape. Denver is very friendly, outgoing and quite energetic and strong. He knows the "sit" and "down" commands, but needs to work on his leash and house manners. Denver's foster dad says he is a total sweetheart. He shares his foster home with two resident German Shepherds and does well with them. He also did OK at the dog park. He is settling into his foster home nicely, his leash manners are improving and hid foster dad is working on Denver's obadience skills and crate training. Denver is a great dog looking for a family to love.

Denver up-to-date on his shots and neutered. He is heartworm negative and on prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Denver, a Baltimore German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
