Zeus's Story...
Hi I am Zeus!

Laurie from Chow Rescue Ontario tells me I am the sweetest little guy she ever did see! Oh Yah don't let my funky hair due scare you is all growing back nicely and I will have the best fur coat you ever did see real soon!!!

I love when people show me attention by petting me, I am a pretty laid back kind of guy who likes to go for walks but otherwise I enjoy laying around with my human friends. I am not too fond of cats and other dogs so in my forever home I need to be the only animal.

The shelter I was at thought I needed eye surgery as my eyes appeared quite infected but when I came to rescue I saw another vet who noticed I had a bad ear infection which is now cleared up and put me on different medication.

My eyes are now looking real good, my hot spots are going away and I am starting to look and feel real good, so they say I can now go to my forever you have the home I so desire?

IT appears that Zeus suffers from allergies and likely will need medication in the pollinating seasons so his eyes do not get all goopy and hot spots do not appear. We would recommend every summer he get shaved so hot spots are less likely to appear.

IF you met this guy you would be in love!!! he is so sweet.

My adoption fee is $400.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a Tillsonburg Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Tillsonburg, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Tillsonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tillsonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tillsonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tillsonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
