Shiba's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Shiba's Story...
Shiba will steal your heart. She's a 2 year old Retriever/Rottie mix that was surrendered to the shelter because her family was moving. They were very sad they couldn't take her with them and said she was a wonderful family pet. Shiba is very friendly with everyone. She likes other dogs too but it's not known if she likes cats or not. This girl even knows a few commands and is house trained. If you're looking for a super family pet, consider Miss Shiba.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiba, a Elyria Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
