Hi, I'm Jacks. I am 5 years old. I was taken in by a friend of my previous owner's a bit back, they couldn't take care of me any longer. So, now I'm trying to find a nice, quiet home with someone that wants a loving companion.
I really need a quiet home where someone can give me some much needed TLC. I love my squeaky toys, food and peanut butter treats, but more than anything I would love to find a family that will allow me to come out of my shell on my own time. See, I'm quite a shy little guy (ok, not so little since I do need to lose a few pounds!) and need a patient family to give me time to warm up to everyone and everything.

I am housetrained and crate trained - two big pluses! I also like going for rides in the truck, they make me sleepy and then it's lights out for me!

If you think you could find a spot for me in your heart and home, please please fill out the application below and Two Left Paws will pass it on to my current owner.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jacks, a Sheboygan Basset Hound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Beagle for sale in Sheboygan, or seeking a Basset Hound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Sheboygan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheboygan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheboygan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Beagle breeders who help with Basset Hound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheboygan paves the way for another one to be saved.
