I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Gilda's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Gilda's Story...
She LOVES walks!! And will also run with you on the leash. She has no interest in other dogs when on walks. She also walks GREAT with another dog. She is shy around strangers and will want to sniff them before they pet her. I introduced her to some kids and she was shy but I didn't push her. She didn't seem to not like them, just shy (hid behind me)

She hasn't tried to jump our cinderblock fence once she met our pack. I think she likes having the other dogs as company so would be good with a multiple dog family. Once she got in with our pack she wanted to stay!

When she's nervous she'll dart around like she's looking for an escape but I think it's just her being nervous.

She takes treats very gently and will sit and come for snacks.

She hasn't had an accident in the house. She does well all day not in a crate. (she paces in the crate and has destroyed 2 at our house) We have a camera in our house and have checked on her and she is usually sleeping.

She will need someone willing to be patient with her and her shyness. She gives kisses and loves affection. Each week she is more comfortable hanging out with us instead of a different room.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gilda, a Phoenix German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
