Emma's Story...
Meet Emma! They don’t come any more charming than this girl! We think she is a mix of Pittbull and Lab – with some teddy bear thrown in for good measure. But the mix is unimportant when you see her in person. With her constantly wagging tail, a goofy smile, it will be love at first sight! Emma came to ARF as a stray and is eager to find her forever family. While we are still getting to know her personality, we do know that Emma is a friendly, loving dog who will make a great addition to any home. She loves people. Emma is at that great age where she enjoys playing and exploring the world, but also loves to relax and cuddle. Emma is a champion cuddler! If you would like to give Emma her second chance at a loving home, contact her adoption consultant, Lynda, at 216-990-6967 or happypup@wowway.com. for more information.

** The adoption fee helps to cover the general veterinarian check-up, heartworm test, spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, flea preventative, and microchip that all dogs adopted through Berea ARF receive prior to going into their new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Berea Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Berea, or seeking a Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
