Tooty's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Tooty's Story...
this is an older girl, she is 12 years young!! she weighs about 5 1/2 pounds and is brown and white spotted. she was purchased from a breeder when she was young and has only known one mama. sadly, though as things often happen, mom got married and had two children. Then there was less time for the dog. and the dog must put up with kids around the house. this mom knew there could be a better life out there for her two dogs who were her first kids!

They, (Tooty and Bunny,) came to us from Tulsa.

They are current on vaccines and already spayed. we did blood work and teeth cleaning and chipping. Tooty has a heart mummer, and does require daily heart meds. These are not very expensive but if need be, the rescue will help with the cost.

she is otherwise, fine and likes to be loved on and played with! she is sleeping in bed with me and can be grouchy when someone walks on her since she is under the covers! LOL

she uses the dog door and is totally housebroke....... This is a very nice dog who would like to be the only dog in the home. A home with NO kids to pester her.

Her adoption fee will be negotiable to the right family since she is a special needs dog. You must have a securely fenced yard, because she enjoys going outside!

she is fostered by Barb. If you would like to meet her, you can call the rescue at 405-216-3994 or come to adoption outreach at Petsmart in Edmond on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. The store is located on Broadway. and we will be there from 10:30 to 5 .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tooty, a Edmond Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Edmond, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
