Paulie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Paulie's Story...
This little dog is Paulie, because she came to us from the Pauls Valley animal shelter where she was left outside their fence in a crate, during the night!

she is maybe 8 years old, and weighs about 6 pounds. she is chocolate and tan. And very friendly and craving attention.

she is heartworm positive, and has just begun her treatment... so it will be a month or so before she can be vetted and then go to her new home.

She is being fostered by Nancy until then, and is settling in to her foster home quite nicely. even sleeping in bed with Nancy the first night!!!

Look at the pictures, I thought it was so cute because she has an over bite and so her tongue hangs out the front. In one picture it looks like she is sticking her tongue out at the camera.

Remember God spreads extra blessings on those who love and care for the old dogs!If you are interested in giving this dog a "forever home", please contact the rescue at 405-216-3994.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paulie, a Edmond Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Edmond, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
