Cowboy needs immediate foster or rescue or a matching permanent home

He's a great people dog loves people over spending time with other dogs he has little to no interest in other dogs at the shelter so would make a super companion dog
he is dog friendly but does not need to be with any to play with he rather be with you his human
he also met a small dog and had no problem with him either

please apply on our site if you can adopt or foster him
www.sadt,info

Cowboy is a sweety and the staff loves him he gets to spend some time in the office and because he's such a nice dog still alive and waiting for you a stable superloving family

If kids prefer over 12 yrs or adult home

Cowboy is not a barker he has energy but not hyper he's a good boy looking for a fun active family

from Shelter staff below

Cowboy's heartworm tested negative, and he weighs 56 pounds. (guessing him between 1-2 yrs) and should be gaining another 10 pounds

He hung out in our very busy office for a couple hours, went on the couch, interacted with a small terrier, walked by the cat cages. He is a energetic dog specially being cages up for the past 3-4 weeks now, but it was nice to see this other side of him while I was on my computer he sat calmly by my chair. He held very still while we drew blood, and so I'm really encouraged that he will make a great companion.

Looking for a catfree home (because of the breed they usually do not do well with cats) and would do best in a non rural setting unless you are a stable person with a fenced yard that would never allow the dog run roam free as he would be chasing livestock as most dogs would if let to do whatever

adoption fee, home check or pictures references, fenced yard
