Dori, 1- to 2-year-old Wirehaired Terrier, 45-50 lbs.

No cats. Knows sit, down, both paws, come, bang-bang. She is an awesome dog, knows lots of commands and is very smart. She would do well with an active family or one with a fenced yard; she would make a great family dog.

To adopt, you must bring in any other dogs that you may have to meet ours and also provide us with proof of homeownership or a renter's policy that states you are allowed to have a dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dori, a Manahawkin Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Manahawkin, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Manahawkin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manahawkin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manahawkin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manahawkin paves the way for another one to be saved.
