My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, Gum here and they don’t come better than me. I will make an impression as soon as you lay eyes on me. I’m one-year-old and I’m a very interesting mix of Pointer and possibly some Husky; I’m extremely proud of my unique good looks. I was picked up as a stray and ended up at the pound. As far as I know, I didn’t do anything wrong in my last home ... go figure! I love all creatures – human and canine (not sure about feline). I do lack some basic canine skills, like keeping all four paws on the ground and pulling ...well, maybe dragging ... my human on leash. Some may thing I’m unruly but I prefer call it pizzazz. You’ve got to appreciate a little enthusiasm. I can be a mouthy but that’s my way of greeting humans and saying “I love you”. The Volunteers just smile at me and say, “nothing obedience training classes can’t fix.” I’d love to go running, hiking, or walking with you and I’d be very happy if you had a back yard that was completely fenced. I will make sure that your yard is squirrel free. It would be best if my new family had older children because I may knock little kids on their butt. I’m still an adolescent so a home where I’m not alone all day would be ideal. If you have time, energy and of course a great home, I’m here and I’m raring to go. If you’re looking for a happy, fun-loving galoot, I won’t disappoint you. We can be a team. Quickly fill in the Adoption Form cause you know I’m not going to last long!
