Bunny's Story...
Bunny came to us as part of a cruelty case. She was very thin, but pregnant when we first received her into BARC. Since having her puppies and becoming comfortable in her foster home, Bunny has blossomed into a very well-mannered and sociable girl. She is extremely sweet and seems very gentle with children she has come into contact with. She follows her foster mom from room to room. Bunny is approximately 4 yrs old. She gets along well with her foster brother and sisters and enjoys playtime in the yard. Bunny is currently being fostered by Trudy in Jacksonville. Bunny will be ready for adoption by the end of the month and is looking forward to find her forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bunny, a Tallahassee Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
