My story

My name is Agnes and I am a very nice, really sweet, 1 year old chocolate n white parti girl with a solid brown face. My sister, Eleanor and I were found just wandering the country back roads all alone, with no owners in sight. A nice young couple found us and saw that we were both very matted and really filthy from being out in the environment. They could not keep us or afford our vet care and they didn't want to take us to a shelter, so they looked into rescue help, so that we could find a great home.

I am healthy, heartworm negative and I am now spayed. I did arrive here with hooks and fleas, but I have been treated for these issues and I feel a lot better. I am a bit feral in new places, but I am starting to get used to things, and I am doing a lot better. I am also doing pretty well with my crate training and I get along well with most dogs. I will need a loving home with someone who can work with me on my socialization skills to new sights and sounds and I need some help with leash walking. I am dog social, so I will do best being adopted into a home with another very dog social pal that can be my new friend and a great buddy to help me learn to become more comfortable with things. I would love to find my new forever home and someone to love me for the special girl that I am. I am a nice, very sweet girl. I would love to meet you!
