Neville is a tender little kitten with the heart of a lion who only needed time to bloom. He was surrendered to a high kill shelter when he was not yet four weeks old. The shelter called Friend's of Rescues' and their Kitten Team jumped into action. He was starving, scared and confused. After a big first meal and a bath to remove an unholy number of fleas his foster mom realized he couldn't see. He couldn't see a thing and he was terrified. He went to the vet the very next day and it was confirmed that he was blind but was so very sick from parasites that it might only be temporary. His foster mom took gentle and loving care of him for weeks. His blindness didn't stop him from thriving. He played, bounced around his cage learning every inch. His foster mom would scratch her fingers on the floor of the cage and he would come running and playfully attack them. After a couple of weeks of good food and the right medicines it was apparent that he was beginning to see again. Slowly, over the course of weeks his vision returned fully. His coat brightened and softened and it became hard to believe he was the same kitten that was so very sick only a month before. Now he's a healthy, bouncy, loving kitten ready to find his forever home. His foster mom affectionately calls him her furry little ankle monitor. He is an absolutely devoted little companion and will be exceedingly loyal to whoever opens their home and heart to him. Neville is the feel good hit of the summer.
