THEO (R)'s Story...
Bruno and Theo have been through a tough time of late. They had a family that loved them, but their people lost their home and now they are sadly homeless too. They were turned into the shelter on 7/23/13 and they said they are good with kids and house trained. They are sharing run number 881. Theo is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped and will be heartworm tested when adopted. He is 7 years old, and 65 lbs, and his ID is 557893. He knows to sit, stay, lay down and walks very nicely on a leash. These are great boys that deserve another chance!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

THEO (R), a Marietta English Setter dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Setter for sale in Marietta, or seeking a English Setter dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Setter breeders who help with English Setter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
