Alameda's Story...
ALAMEDA is a female brown/white German Shepherd mix who is approximately 4 months old. This sweet little girl was a stray that was found with her brothers, Herbert and Robert, near the HEB on Robert and Alameda (hence their names.) Alameda is a sweet little puppy who likes to sleep all day in the kennel with her brothers. Once you get her up and going, she loves to pounce around and play with toys but will always take time out for some love. Alameda is waiting to be adopted so come meet this precious little girl and take her home for good!

Upon adoption, Alameda will be spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and her adoption fee is $66.00. You can submit an adoption application at http://ccpaac.org/adoption-application. Please TEXT 361-438-3232 for more information. You can visit Alameda at Corpus Christi Animal Control at 2626 Holly Road. Adoption Hours are M-F 1-5:30 pm and Saturday 1-4:30 pm. Make sure you ask for a PAAC volunteer when you go visit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alameda, a Corpus Christi German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
