My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie: 5 yr old black & rust female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 15.5", 18 lb. Owner give-up.
Ellie is a lovely girl! She is still warming up in her new foster home and starting to show more emotion. She's not a dog that bonds instantly. She loves to play with her foster brothers and LOVES to run in the yard! We require a sturdy fence for Ellie because she loves to RUN a little too much! The pictures don't do her justice at all -- she is just stunning! She's thin and has dry skin but hopefully good nutrition will resolve that quickly. She alarm barks occasionally and does bark at visitors until she gets petted and then she's fine. She needs someone to take her to school as she really doesn't understand polite leash walking. To meet her exercise needs, she needs an ACTIVE home with lots of love and attention....something we don't think she got in her prior home. She is NOT hyper by any means....she LOVES to calmly sit at your feet in the evening or come up and lay on your lap for some loving.
Note: Ellie is located in Scotia, NY - and we will not fly this girl.
