WALLY. Things are looking up for Wally. He is getting his first vetting and some real food, not junk food. Nor is he any longer tied to a tree in small enclosure with heavy old rope. A little recovery time and he will be ready for his forever home where he will be a treasured member of the family. He deserves a good life and will be so appreciative of the love. Four years old, so has lots of good years to look forward to.
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same sex in a home and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer no smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues. All our dogs are fully vetted, including all shots, wormer & flea protection, nails trimmed, the works. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $350, no exceptions as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training. Can you give him a happy, carefree life again?
