Linden's Story...
Linden the love bug! Very affectionate little boy who loves to purr to let you know how much he enjoys your attention. Linden is also a typical kitten who loves to play with his sister, Laurel. And when they are done being silly, it's time for them to snuggle together. Linden would love to be adopted with his sister, Laurel, but if there is another playful cat or kitten already in the house, that would be great too. Two love bugs are better than one! You can meet Mr Linden and his sister Laurel at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt him on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first. Hurry in, they grow up so fast! Lina and Louie are in a foster home. Linden's estimated date of birth is 5/1/13. His adoption fee of $135 includes: vet exam, FeLV/FIV test (neg), distemper combo (FVRCP) vaccine, routine deworming, flea control, microchip and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Linden, a Mt. Prospect Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
