SILLY LILLY's Story...
Lilly was abandoned at a local business. She was living under a car and very scared. The good people of the business called the Humane Society for help. Lilly is a 45-50 lbs, 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix. She is very friendly with everyone and loves to play. Energetic best describes her. She gets along with all dogs but would do best with dogs her own size. When she drinks, she loves to play in the water. We do not know how she would get along with cats but we think she would want to chase them. Lilly walks well on a leash and loves to ride in the car. Due to her energy level, older children are recommended. Due to recent changes in interstate adoption regulations, we are no longer able to adopt to RI residents. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Why Adoption is a Great Option

SILLY LILLY, a Salem Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Salem, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
