BIG RED (R)'s Story...
Big Red is very calm in his run, and well behaved outside! He also walks very nicely on a leash, knows to sit when told. He appears he may have lived his life outside so far, but he is looking for a job as an inside dog! Big Red is up to date on shots, and will be neutered, and microchipped before adoption. His ID is 557011, he is in run 90, weighs 71 lbs. and is about 3 years old. Come on over and see if this sweetie could be your new best buddy! Sadly he has tested positive for heartworms, but with treatment will be good as new in no time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BIG RED (R), a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
