Billy's Story...
Billy: 3 yr old red male, neutered, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 10", 10 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter.
"I was brought to the shelter by a family that found me on the streets of Rochester. They were a nice family with three dogs and a young child. I got along with the families dogs and child very well. They tried to find my family, but no one claimed me. I was brought to the shelter and did not do well there. IMPS was called, and I was brought to a wonderful foster home. My foster family is so nice. I enjoy cuddling and playing, and I get along with the dogs in the household. My foster dad says I have a wonderful temperament. If you are interested in adopting me, please email Karen at impsny@gmail.com."
Note: Billy is located in Rochester, NY - and we will not fly this boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Billy, a Syracuse Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Syracuse, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Syracuse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Syracuse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Syracuse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Syracuse paves the way for another one to be saved.
