Hardy's Info...

I am purebred and up to date with shots.

Hardy's Story...
I am one very handsome fella. I have a moderate energy level. Understanding my breed is a must; bulldogs need to be kept in a comfortable, controlled environment. We don't need much exercise or special grooming; just give us a good rub down with a rough towel and we are good to go. Our short squashed noses make too much exercise or excessive heat a struggle. I weigh 43 pounds. Bulldogs are not the ideal pet for an inexperienced dog owner. But for the people that know the breed, we are all that they would ever own. There is a special adoption fee for me. Please contact the Heartland Pet Connection, 402-462-PETS, for further information.

* I have been micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hardy, a Hastings English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Hastings, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Hastings.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hastings already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hastings breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hastings paves the way for another one to be saved.
