Meet Jake!
Jake is a 1 year old lab mix who cannot wait to find his perfect family! Jake is a bundle of love and energy who wants so badly to be a part of a family that won’t abandon him, so he is staying with our family while he waits on his new family to find him! This poor guy has been in and out of a shelter for his entire life, but he has not lost his sweet spirit at all! He is young, so he has a good bit of puppy energy and will need a family that is able to provide exercise for him as an outlet for his energy. He loves to play and is good with our other dogs, who range from 15lb to 75lb and vary in attitude and energy level. He loves to run in the yard, so a fenced yard would be best for him, but he does not like to stay out in the yard without his family, so he would need to be an inside dog. He is very good in his crate and is working on house training. Since he has been abandoned by so many people at the shelter, we have sent Jake to a fabulous obedience school, so he has had 6 full weeks of intense training. His training has a lifetime guarantee, so he can always go back for a refresher course! When he is adopted, the adopting family will also get free classes with Jake and his trainer to learn to work with him. This is great training with a very experienced trainer, and it’s rare to have the opportunity to adopt a dog with such great training! Jake is a great little guy and would make a wonderful addition to any family with or without other pets! Sweet Jake deserves a perfect home with a family that will not let him down again!
