Bebe's Story...
Meet Bebe, a beautiful one-eyed pug girl! This girl has had a hard life and so can be a bit hesitant with strangers and sometimes nervous with other dogs, but her wonderful foster parents are teaching her about being a loved pug. She is house-broken, crate-trained (although not a big fan of the crate), and obedient, particularly if a food bribe is available. Are you the one to love on this velcro girl and teach her that a spoiled life can be wonderful? If so, fill out an application at www.pugrescueaustin.com/adopt

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bebe, a Austin Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Austin, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
