Cleo was clearly not treated well by her former person. Upon arriving to Our Pal's Place, Cleo began learning what it means to be loved. The tender care and positive attention that our volunteers provided Cleo changed her life. Cleo now greets us at the door and snuggles when we sit with her. Cleo loves to give hugs, wrapping her front legs around your waist as she provides gentle kisses. Cleo has really blossomed! Cleo enjoys being around youth! She was in a temporary home for a couple of weeks with two young children who Cleo adored! Cleo likes taking walks, yet her favorite activity is being a 'couch potato'! If you are looking for a quiet, calm, housetrained, loyal companion, please take time to meet our gorgeous girl, Cleo.

About Our Pals Place

About Our Rescue Group...

Our Pal’s Place is an animal advocate organization with a pet adoption facility and education center, located in Marietta, Georgia. Our mission is to provide solutions that improve the future for animals. We also run a summer camp program teaching children the importance of spay & neuter and kindness to animals.

Our purpose is to rescue animals from euthanasia at local animal control shelters. When entering the shelter, we first meet the animals who are on "death row". If we believe we can find the animal a good home, we bring them into our organization. We provide safe housing, food, basic training, necessary rehabilitation and a lot of TLC! The animals receive full veterinarian care and are spay/neutered. Meanwhile, we work to find these homelss animals a "forever home".

Rescue and adoption is an important step to helping homeless animals, but will not resolve the overpopulation problem, eliminate animal cruelty or prevent dog fighting. For this reason, Our Pal's Place is dedicated to providing solutions to current animal welfare issues through our education center and community outreach programs. In a positive, fun environment we teach solutions and provide hands-on learning experiences for youth and adults.

Our Adoption Process...

Puppy (9 months or younger): $200 – includes puppy vaccinations completed as of the time of adoption and spay/neuter

Throughout the adoption application process, Our Pal’s Place will act in accordance with what we feel is in the best interest of our dogs. Our decisions are based on what we know about our dog’s temperament, background and current needs. If multiple applications are received for a dog, we will review all applications equally vs accepting the first application. All decisions are made jointly by the Adoption Management Team.

Other animals in your home…

If you have other pets in your home, either our professional trainer, Sandy Adcock, or an experienced adoption team member will assist with introductions.
