Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome guy is Clyde. Clyde arrived at our rescue recently as part of a male/female duo who we named Bonnie and Clyde. Clyde is a male, Labrador retriever mix in a really pretty shade of yellow and white. We are not sure if the pair are brother and sister, but their breed, size, and ages are very close. Bonnie does appear to have some greyhound in her, but Clyde is definitely more on the Labrador side. Clyde weighs approx 40 lbs. currently and will probably put on a few more lbs before he reaches his ideal size of possibly 50 lbs. Clyde has been started on vaccines, will be neutered the week of July 28, and is testing negative for heart worms. We have him on his monthly preventatives for heart worms, fleas & ticks, and parasites.
Clyde is a very shy personality at this point. He walks well on his leash and loves to have his tummy rubbed. He has a more quiet personality and is lower on the energetic scale than partner Bonnie. He just seems more laid back and easy going. He is very shy at meeting new people---at least right now. We are working with him daily to get him to open up a little quicker. He may have been abused prior to coming to us, and that may account for his reserve. But he shows no signs of aggression in any way and just seems to genuinely need to be loved and cared for. He is a beautiful dog and very deserving of a great home. He should be ready to transport to his new home after August 15.
