Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tia is a beatiful little girl who is another locally surrendered senior. She is the mom of Peanut, but they can't be placed together. She does well with humans though does not have a lot of experience with children so we'd be most comfortable placing her in an adult-only home or one with older respectful children. With bigger dogs she does well, a little scared at first but settles down when she realizes they are no threat. When dogs are her size or smaller, however, she has a harder time.
Tia had her hip repaired at a young age and still has a bit of an odd stance though she doesn't limp or appear to be in pain. The vet gave her the "all clear". Tia has no problem being handled, picked up, etc. She has lived with cats in the past and been fine.
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
