Sunny's Story...
Sunny is a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who is about 1 year old. She's a real sweetie who loves to play and get lots of love & snuggles from her humans. She gets along well with other small dogs and is pretty tolerant of cats, too. Older kids would be best for Sunny because she has that long doxie back that's easy to injure. If Sunny sounds like she might be your next family member, call her foster mom Abby at 602-348-5599 to set up a meeting. She'd love to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a Glendale Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Glendale, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Glendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
