Isabella's Story...
Introducing...Isabella! Isabella came to us from Fayette County where she was found, along with her siblings & other family members, in the home of a deceased breeder. All the dogs were removed to safety to the Fayette County Shelter where we acquired Isabella and her sister Sheba. Both are 3.5 years old. Isabella is gorgeous and very smart.

Here is some info from the AKC page: An old and distinct French breed of herding dog, the Beauceron is easily trained, faithful, gentle and obedient. The Beauceron coat can be seen in variations of black and tan. While relatively unknown outside of France, the breed is very old within the country. And while there are many sheep herding dogs in France, the Beauceron is the preferred choice due to its tireless work ethic.

Isabella's adoption fee is $250 and covers her spay, vaccines, preventative medications, microchip and 30 day free trial pet insurance.

We are a 501c3 non profit organization and your adoption fee is a tax deductible contribution.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isabella, a Delaware Beauceron dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beauceron for sale in Delaware, or seeking a Beauceron dog from a breeder in Delaware.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Delaware already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Delaware breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beauceron breeders who help with Beauceron rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Delaware paves the way for another one to be saved.
