Charlie's Story...
Charlie was dropped off at one of our Pet Smart adoption events recently. Her little eyes were matted shut and she was so dirty and starving. She was about 2 weeks old. She has been in one of our foster homes since and has found out there is a big world out there since she can now see from her eyes. She is queen of the foster home she is living in now. Full of fun and loves to play. She is a real tiger and has no fear. Since getting her eyes well and getting a bath and a lot of food in her belly, she has become one sweetie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Clarksville Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
