Hi, my name is Emma. I don't have an exact birthday BUT my friends say I’m about a year old. I’m a mixed breed and I’m told I am very pretty. I don’t have a mirror so I’m not sure if my walkers are just trying to be nice to me, but people do stop us when we are out and comment on how cute I am.
Am I spayed? Yes I am! This means that I am ready to go home as soon as my future forever family finds me!
Am I house trained? Yes I am house trained! I may need a little reminding when I get to my new home, but I’m really really smart and learn things easily.
Where do I sleep at night? I am currently sleeping in a crate to better help with my crate training. I am fine since it has a nice soft blanket in it. I’m easy going so if you want me to sleep with you, no worries! I can be flexible.
How do I do with dogs? I am very social and love other dogs! I would make a great sibling if you already have a dog at home. I would share all my toys, I promise! I have a lot of energy and love to play.
How about cats? I am so social I even like cats! Go figure.
Do I like kids? What do you think? Of course I do! Little people to play with! I can be a little mouthy at times, but I’m going to out-grow that. With proper guidance and a little training, I’ll be great.
Do I know any tricks? I am learning new tricks every day! I am a very smart girl and currently know "sit," and my walkers are teaching me "stay," "come," and "down." I am excited to learn more. Did I mention that I am very smart? I still pull a little on the leash but I am getting better. I like to fetch and run around and do puppy things!
What is my personality like? I am a very social, sweet dog. I am still quite puppyish, so I will do best with routine and guidance if/when I do something annoying! I love belly rubs and treats. I like Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain. No wait – that’s not me – that’s from a Jimmy Buffett song I heard.
Where do I currently live? I am currently residing at Pine Brook in Norwood, NJ. They are nice to me here but I would LOVE a forever home. Can’t you just picture me in your 2013 family holiday card?
