Jack's Story...
Jack – Chihuahua, Doxie and maybe Miniature Pinscher mix pup. He was born 20 Feb 2013. The owner found homes for 3 of 6 in the litter and when she couldn’t find homes for Jack and his two sisters she turned them over to us for adoption. Jack is not as barky as you would expect from Chihuahuas but when he does bark it is loud and he does whine when he wants attention! He loves to be cuddled but is also very active. He is extremely cute and is looking for his forever home. He has had his puppy shots, has been neutered and currently weighs 10 pounds so we expect him to remain small when full grown. He can be seen on Saturdays, 10:30 to 2:30 at Global Pet Food, 20210 S Normandie Ave, Torrance, CA 90502. Note we only adopt to the Los Angeles South Bay Area. If you are interested in Jack please email sctretrievers@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Torrance Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
