Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cooper! Cooper is a sweet and loving 2 year old male Beagle. Cooper was recently rescued from the high kill Taylor Animal Shelter and will be ready for adoption on or about 8/8/13. This little fella is just a gem, he takes great pride in trying to see how many toys he can bring into his bed or into the yard. He LOVES his toys and bones! Coop also loves to stick his head out the window on car rides to get some fresh air with his ears flapping in the wind.
Cooper plays wonderfully with his foster mom's other dog and is just curious about her cat. He does chase the cat a bit here and there but mostly out of curiousity and for sniffing purposes (that beagle nose!). He would make a great family dog as he is friendly with children as well.
Cooper is very intelligent and well-behaved and knows all basic commands (sit, stay, come, "no", etc). Since he was dumped at the shelter with no name we had to name him and he has already learned his new name in only a week's time! Smarty pants!
If you are looking for a loving companion and family member then Cooper is your perfect boy. He would love for his adopter(s) to take him on walks so he can sniff around and would also enjoy playing with other dogs.
