My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ron is 2 years old, about 22-26 Lbs, He is a nice size.
We can learn a lot from this handsome boy, from his great spirit and strength to his love for little things in life. Ron is as happy as they come, loves his tummy rubs, thrives on attention and petting, yet he is not a demanding or "needy" dog, he will never be a marathon walker or a jogging companion but he is a great short walking buddy to someone, he is a dog that would be fine siting next to you watching you work on your computer or watching TV. He has a lot to give. Please watch his video. We are determined to find him just the right home, we know he is needed somewhere and that he has a special purpose, perhaps to be a companion to a person confined to a wheelchair or someone that for health reasons needs daily short walks, or someone that can connect and understand this remarkable and very sweet dog. He is calm and gentle, he could make a great therapy dog to visit hospitals, he is sure to lift someone's spirits, or he could just be a family dog in a home with gentle older children. Ron can do all the things other dogs do but less of it and in his own wobbly way.
He will need to keep his weight down, good and measured quality meals will be recommended.
We know there is a purpose for him, a reason why he is still with us in this world, all he needs is that special person or family willing to give him a chance and a forever home....
