Swiffer's Story...
Meet Mr. Swiffer, he came to us with his brothers, sister and Mom & Dad, they were saved from a back yard breeder. They were a hot mess when they came to us but after a Spa Day @ Bark Life and some much needed TLC they are looking very handsome now. They are fostered with other dogs, cats and children and get along with everyone. Swiffer is around a year old however he is still getting the hang of house training as the poor boy was kept in a crate most of his life. Swiffer is neutered and had all his shots, his adoption fee is $150, please contact us for an application form if you would like to meet Swiffer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Swiffer, a Largo Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in Largo, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
