Mars's Story...
Mars is a New Britain dog who didn't have a very good start in life. Neglected and ignored, he made the best of it until one day a really caring person came by and showed him what the good life is. Since then Mars has been in an absolutely loving foster home where he's learned how to love people, dogs, and cats; his basic commands, and how to be an amazing companion. He's one of the special ones, a keeper, if you will. He needs his forever home, and we know it's out there. In state and out of state inquiries welcome. Please let us know, you won't be sorry with this gem of a dog.

Act quickly to adopt Mars. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mars, a Berlin American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Berlin, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Berlin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berlin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berlin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berlin paves the way for another one to be saved.
